I would say fiber laser is widely used in metal processing. The power of this laser cutter is usually much higher than that of the CO2 laser cutter machine in order to cut off thick metals. So normally, it is used in the automotive industry or building materials industry, like metal tube cutting, metal car body cutting, and metal parts cutting.
But we can also see many marking machines on the market, similar to those for engraving Airpods, which are also fiber lasers. But the power of this laser marking machine is not high, usually, only 30 to 100w to output a finer spot for precise engraving.
